Thanks but that is the incorrect reference but it did lead me to the correct reference http://www.vhu.sk/data/att/2822.pdf.
The introduction made an interesting statement, "collection of memoirs at the Military History Archive in Bratislava, which is today made up of 504 titles." It had never crossed my mind there would be Slovakian memoirs from the Eastern Front
