No, this is not MG01, this is MG08 on a MG01 mount.

A pity that these differences can not de seen in most of the wartime images.....
A last question about these Maxim German machineguns. Any idea about these machineguns ?

I'm 100% not sure, but I think that this is a modernized tripod from the French machine gun Puteaux APX M1905.
It was also used for the French machine gun St. Étienne Mle 1907. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is my personal opinion))
