German Medal Case
Can anyone tell me what type of decoration this German medal/presentation box would be for? Is it for a WW2 era iron cross? Would appreciate your opinions. When I found it it had the wrong medal inside.

It is observed how it is labeled in French ( 1re Classe ), and German ( 1te Klasse ) this case.
Various medals and orders might be, it will not necessarily have to be a military medal.
