Hi CogCalgary,

And the USA hasn't been operating over the same areas itself and is incapable of developing these systems itself?

Israel receives billions of dollars every year from the US for defence, but it is very noticeable that whenever the US actively intervenes in the Middle East itself, it NEVER does so beside Israeli forces, just with Arab forces. There isn't even a military alliance between the two. I can see what is in the association for Israel, (quite possibly national survival in the past), but what indispensible does the US gain from the association with Israel that outweighs the downside of alienating most other countries in the Middle East for the last 75 years?

The relationship between the Israel and the USA often seems to resemble "the tail wagging the dog".

Cheers,

Sid.

When the Israelis enter hostile airspace or likely even before the response can be studied.
The situation is what we have now.It has been "the tail wagging the dog" in many respects and it is a very long story. What is the alternative?Limited nuclear war is what could possibly ensue after complete disengagement. I feel sorry for the Iranian people being in the grip of the madmen. They poison the Palestinian people with their hatred and support for terror.
