yes they are Ottoman medics at Trablusgarb.(today Libya) as Trablusgarb was attacked by the Italian colonials many turkish voplounteers arrived to Ottoman province Trablusgarb to organize a national movement againts invading Italians.

J.W. Stuart Smallwood nam-ı diğer Teğmen İngiliz Osman Efendi. İtalyanların yaptığı bir hava saldırısında ağır yaralandı, esir düşü ve italyan hastanesinde şehid oldu.Allah rahmet eylesi. Ruhu şad olsun!
He is J.W.Stuart Smallwood alias Lt. İngiliz Osman Efendi. He was heavly wounded during an italian air raid. Found my italian infantry and taken to hospital where he died. He was a commando expert. He usualy raided at nights to italian trenches and took prisoners. His funeral by the italians.
