Her photos showed their humanness.
A style not found often for military.

I should have added Tita Binz to my post -not because of the content of her work necessarily, but because she was a very creative woman in the TR era.
You are right of course, Binz's work has a distinctive look. The faces seem to be softer/more smiles than is usual.
