This my grandfathers Parabellum M/23 civilian version cal 7,65 para.
I was lucky to get it licenced about ten years ago.
Also have 4mm subcaliber barrel for it, with original packet.

Thanks!
This is my kind of family treasure.
I would rather let my other arm go.
Altough it would be hard to load this thing then...

Hi Finn,

Nice artillery Luger you have there.
Is it all matching numbers, and what date is it.?
Do you know any of its history?

Regards,

Steve.

M95 Styer

Post by USA_Finn » 23 Dec 2003 20:34

Hi, never have fired the M95, am fearful of the straight pull back bolt mechanism. I asked the same question- was the M95 a standard issue weapon in WW2, here is the URL.

luger #s

Hi Steve, yes the serial numbers all match, including the clip. The url, with pics, is below.

Also in my possession is an ownership certificate, issued by the US Army in 1945, transferring the luger and a P38 from the US Army to Dad, when he returned home on the QE1. As an aside, my father was a medic and a German interpreter with the 44th Division. After AE Day, the interpreters were tasked to disarm civilians in the city of Landeck Austria. An old woman walked up a street with both pistols, my father did his job well. ;^) Alas, the mint P38 was a gift to my uncle, love shooting both weapons.

Pistole 626b

Here is a picture of my FN model 1910/22 probably produced during german occupation of Belgium since it has german stamps.
The story around this gun(true or false?) is that it came to sweden together with deserting/escaping german soldiers(from fightings in the baltic states).
The gun was confiscated by a local policeman on the Swedish island of Gotland.
He used it for targetshooting according to the story.
Best regards
Browning
