How do you figure? I'm just curious what distinguishing features you're seeing. I've seen a Dreyse M1907 before, but the British officer in the foreground is covering up alot of the handgun's features by holding the frame and pulling back the slide.

In my opinion, it is impossible to establish the type of weapon from a photograph of this quality.
In addition, the angle is very unfortunate. I can do fortune telling.

Beretta model 1934 or 1935.

I think LineDoggie is on the right track, because certainly is an odd pistol ( I thought in an old Mauser 1914 ) with a big ejection port
