Hi!

Yesterday, September 4, we tried to work on the site. Was scheduled for the next task - to bring order to the construction site and inside the building. This urgency was caused by the fact that on September 6 scheduled presentation of the project to the press. We planned volume of work handled. Apart from the fact that almost the entire day was rain and we were soaked completely.

We should also seriously consider diversion of rainwater

Best regards.

Dear Konstantyn,

are there any Military Training Units in your area who could help with earth-moving, etc?

Here we have had such help and they were glad to train, teach the soldiers some local military history and "Keep the Army in the Public Eye" - good publicity for them.

Just a thought.

Dear John, very good practice - to attract soldiers to such works. In Ukraine, the soldiers involved in the works for the reburial of the victims of the Second World War. This is a long-standing practice. Unfortunately, the nearest military unit from Kramators'k very far. Excavation equipment will assist the municipal motor company. We very much hope so.
Thank you for your interest in this project and for your advice. I am very grateful to you.

Dear Konstantin,

that is a pity, but it might still be worth making contact, perhaps through your ex-servicemen's associations: in our experience the Military are always looking for new things to keep the soldiers busy - they might be able to make you your hedgehog anti-tank obstacles from scrap metal over the winter to train in welding and painting to preserve metal? In the Spring, an excercise in map-reading for trucks to deliver them - then a camp for some days - to help you!

If you can generate interest in your newspapers, then perhaps you could visit the Military and give a talk on what and why you are doing this - explain what help you need?

It is always difficult for Officers to find things for the men to do!!

Best,

John

Attended by journalists of urban media, vice mayor, business leaders, who have assisted in the recovery, the director of the local museum, representatives of schools and other organizations. There was also a distinguished guest from Kiev - a veteran party fights for Kramators'k for these fights was awarded the medal "For Courage". Were all of us - the participants of the project, members of the local club «Kraeved» (local historian).

The show was great. Even the rain, for the occasion, made a break. A lot of good has been said and promised. We perked up - then it's all you need not only to us. This is encouraging and gives new strength and motivation. But most importantly - we are today remembered those killed in the battle for Kramators'k. All of them.

Best regards.

Dear John, thank you. Indeed, about the project learned a lot of people. It is right and good. The museum director said that the facility will be included in the list of tourist destinations.
Unfortunately, in Ukraine, a big problem with Pay Pal.

Valentin Kravchenko could be your greatest asset - try to get "Talk Radio" stations to speak with him and yourselves - about the project and WHY it is IMPORTANT!

You need to make your museum director understand that there is a huge amount of interest in this period - on Saturday I had the privilige of meeting Czeck bunker friends at our bunker - they drove through Europe to come and look at our little rocks!

The Ukraine is little known to many people even those who study fortifications: put yourselves out there on the map!

Kind regards, John

Hi!

I consider it necessary to add that the veteran Valentin Kravchenko still teaches Aviation University in Kiev such a complex subject as the "Navigation". He is fluent in English, and it leads to student learning. Veteran of 90 years.
Here's a link to a video of Victor Ivanov http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2nP8bQM ... e=youtu.be

Hi!

Today, 15 September, came specially to see how things are after painting metal building elements. The paint has dried up - it's good. And, thank God, the door flap and embrasures are intact, lock in place, the visible signs of vandalism were found. I would like for it to say a huge thank neighborhood residents - thank you!

Dear Colleagues, I ask you to provide information and support to our project. We will be grateful to everyone. Maybe someone has a personal possession of the documents from the NARA - T733, R 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56.

We need all the information regarding the fortifications in Kramatorskaya. And information relating to the battle for Kramatorsk in September 1943. We hope very much to find this information in the documents. Unfortunately, the budget for the project is close to zero and we have in this matter rely on charity esteemed colleagues. Thank you.

Best regards.

Hi!

Dear colleagues, initiated this assignment intention of fortifications status of " Monument of history". In Ukraine, it is very important - this object is automatically protected by the state . This status gives quite a lot of preferences to maintain its safety, security and so on. But it is very continuous visit process may take several years. Everything, including the duration of the procedure depends on the objectivity and depth of the document " History". This document ( History ) is primary. Unfortunately, we do not have any documents to determine the exact - when he obtained his bachelor who built and participated in the fighting there ... All our knowledge is based on the memories of veterans and rumors.
I would once again ask all of you - maybe someone of you has in his personal possession of the documents from the NARA - T733, R 50 , 51 , 52 , 53 , 54 , 55, 56. We do not need all the information from these commercials. We need information regarding only the fortifications in Kramatorskaja and information on fighting for Kramatorskaja in September 1943. Believe me, if we count with a budget for the purchase of these videos in NARA, I would not asked with the request. Thank you.

Best regards.

Hi!

September 18 journalists of regional television channel "CAT" recorded reportage dedicated to work on the creation of the monument fortification of the Second World War. For us, this is new, noazhidanno and very helpful. The more people know about our initiative, the better. This is also important from the point of view of search sponsors - lack the financial means to acquire documents from NARA.
