Dear Friends,

In my opinion, the bunker at Die017 was used as Verstärkeramt. Please have a look at this map: part 1 : http://www.wwii-photos-maps.com/germana ... -6-44.html ; part 2 : http://www.wwii-photos-maps.com/germana ... n%202.html.
(sources : http://www.wwii.-photos-maps.com).
According to this map, Arques-la-Bataille's bunker should be a Verstärkeramt. It seems logical when we look the shapes of the different rooms of the bunker. Please also have a look at this post http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... e+repeater.

That's also why French Telecom re-used the bunker after the war for long distance cable network.

Best regards from Le Havre

Hello Sébastien

There should also be the same bunker as Die 017 near Epreville
and a other bunker or the same should be at Lillebonne , do you
have any information on both bunkers ??

Dear Jos,

About Epreville, it is the same bunker, build in mirror, according to one of my friend. He visited the bunker many years ago but was not allowed to take any picture or to make a plan by the owner.

For the one in Lillebonne, I have no information about it. Dirk spoke also in this post of two other bunkers (rouen isnauville and rouen amfreville) : I studied many aerial picture but I found nothing.

Best regards from France,

Sébastien

Dear friends,

I think I discovered the one near Rouen, in Amfreville-la-Mivoie. A bunker for telephone exchange was surveyed here by the french army engineers according to SCOICH records from SHD in Vincennes. The bunker was registred as "SI 116" by them. After a carefull research on aerial photos, I discovered the place where this bunker was build. It was destroyed between 1964 and 1965 with the view to build storages between the road to Paris and the river Seine.

In my opinion, it was the same kind of bunker as Arques-la-Bataille, but the one in Amfreville-la-Mivoie was build without Nachkampfraum. The general layout of the "plan" made by french army engineers is close to the plan of Arques-la-Bataille bunker.

Please find attached document for your opinion,

Regards

Sébastien Haule

Dear Moonraker, Etienne

Do you have any other info on the Isnauville bunker?

The (SK) types in the pas the Calais area very early Marine constructions and have a name: Ausweich-Verstärkerbunker. so we can skip the Sk.

in the communicationsystem the have codes like Schaltstelle T or V.

On page 169 - 176 of Festung Boulogne book gives more answer to this early constructions.

Greetings Ben
