Hello all

I have now planned my tour for the summervacation this year.

Departure from Denmark 18-7:

1 stop: Thionville - 1 day
2 stop: Aubenas - 1 day
3 stop: Perpignan - 5 days
4 stop: La Rochelle - 3 days
5 stop: Berck-Plage - 2 days
6 stop: Zeebrugge - 1 day

Home again 2-8:

Perpignan which is the destination - there we will see the different sites in this Roman inspired area - also a trip to Camargue - large national naturepark - and off coruse see whats left of the "Südwall" in that area.

La Rochelle is as all know the destination with U-Boat bunkers, and a large concentration of fortifications both on the mainland and also on the islands Ile de Oleron and Ile de Ree.

Berck-Plage between Le Havre and Boulogne is largely plastered with bunkers - and also a large touristarea with nice beaches.

Last stop will be Atlantikwall Museum in Raversijde - Zeebrugge:

There might be a small story and pictures here on Axis when i get back.

Anyone have some hints and ideas related to the above sites and areas - other "must see" things along this route?

If so you are welcome to respond here, or send me a PM.

Regards
Kurt
