Do you mean the M-84 (based on T-72), or have they also been updated ?

No! These tanks weren't updated. Another, older type! M-84 was Yugoslav version of Soviet T-72; we got them from JLA and they are same as they were.

So it´s got to be the T-55 S1. Improved with an israeli gun, armor, engine and aiming system.

They belonged to a pilot who decided he would no longer fight against his countrymen and took the opportunity to land in Austria. Which jet did he fly, and who are his countrymen ?

Yes, on 25th Oct 1991 croatian Cpt. Rudolf Peresin landed a jugoslavian MiG 21R in Klagenfurt/Carinthia. The plane is still in Austria, but he was allowed to return to Croatia. He was later shot down fighting the Serbs during Operacija Bljesak in May 1995, but managed to parachute out. He was taken captive, and how he died remains unknown. The croatian Air Force Academy bears his name.

Your turn.
