And another few to close the "Grosse Geschichte des Dritten Reiches und des Zweiten Weltkrieges" collection.
First, partisan artillery in action around Knin,1944.Underneath the picture stood the following:"C-in-C Südost von Weichs, during a Lagebesprechung in September 1944:"Classification of the enemy as "Bandits" and the fighting against him as "Bandenkrieg" showed itself ultimately as wrong. In reality,he is (new units excluded) tacticaly and operationaly well led, dynamical, enviably equipped with heavy weapons and of steadily growing strength.""

Partisans on roll call after liberation of Jajce.Part of Lagebericht des Befehlhabers der deutschen Truppen in Kroatien vom 22.Dezember 1942: " Poltical slogans of Tito's command call for unity of all citizens against chetniks, ustashas and occupying troops, wisely leaving out plans of world revolution.Humane treatment of Croatian Home Defence soldiers didn't fail to produce it's desired effect. In general, they try to make their coming into power acceptable to the uprising movement by enforcing discipline and organising a considerate administration."

Next are three dealing with the Handschar division, taken from Zija Sulejmanpasic's "13.SS divizija Handzar-istine i lazi".
Altough this division is fairly "popular" when it comes to discussing and photographs,I don't remember seeing these photos that often: Handschar alpinists in the mountains;Pioniere at work;Obf.Sauberzweig visiting the wounded.
