Italian ships at Corfu - September 1943

Post by gjs » 30 Dec 2006 21:54

I would like to get some additional informations about torpedoboats Cosenz, Sirtori, Stocco sunk at Corfu in September 1943. How they get there? Were they operating from Brindisi? If not, then where was their base harbour? Were they located there on the 8th of September 1943, it means at the time of Armistice? Were at Corfu any other ships, which were not sunk?

Thanks a lot for any information in advance
