Wehrmacht ‘Underground City’ Bunkers & Living Arrangements - Leningrad Front 1943

Post by Richard Stone » 25 Feb 2023 01:26

This short article shows the ‘underground’ bunkers and living arrangements the Wehrmacht constructed in the swampy areas of the Leningrad front during the 1942 - 1943 period.

This article is a translation of a German press article that apparently was printed in the early 1943 time period. The translated article was printed in the May 1943 edition of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’.
