Post by bltedouard » 25 Jan 2023 19:41

hello to all ,

watching this film https://youtu.be/pLJ-3T7K9rE on the German view of the dday, we notice a sequence ( 6:20 ) where landing craft are destroyed, can you identify the place ? . Is it the German counter-attack of June 6 by the 21st Panzerdivision ?,

thank you in advance for your help

It is the aftermath of the Great Storm of 19 June. The derelict landing craft were washed up on shore east of the Douve River. I believe those scenes were shot near Cabourg or Houlgate?

the propaganda has therefore totally used images out of context to make people believe, on the contrary, in the result of a counter-attack
