Was there any combat between Polish and Italian-Republican forces?

Post by Coaster » 10 Oct 2022 21:25

Polish forces saw their share of action in Italy, but I've only heard of them coming up against German units after the Cassibile Armistice. Did any Polish units see combat against units of the Italian Social Republic (RSI)?

EDIT: I just realized this topic might belong in the "Africa and Mediterranean" section, apologies for that. Admins please move it if you feel it needs to be moved. I sometimes lump Italy with "western Europe" due to the Cold-War perspective ;)
