747th US Tank Battalion - Development Of 'Salad Fork’ Design Hedgerow Cutter - Normandy 1944

Post by Richard Stone » 26 Mar 2022 17:30

The attached report by the US 747th Tank Battalion discusses their development of their 'salad fork’ hedgerow cutter and their alternate rail blade hedgerow design (the ‘green dozer’ hedgerow cutter).

This report was printed in a separate US Army report series of the tactics and methods used primarily by the 29th Infantry Division and its attached units during the Normandy hedgerow battles.
