Krugner, Leopold 1 Unteroffizier Geschützführer i. d. 1./Pz.Jäg.Abt 17 -Hetzer - 11 kills
Just one note:
The 1./Pz.Jg.Abt. 17 didn't have a Hetzer equipment!

It was the 2./Pz.Jg.Abt. 17 but that company also just got the Hetzers after the fighting during which Krugner got his Ritterkreuz.

Hi Antonio,
that's interesting. I found one article some years ago already, but that describs him just after his EK1 award, see below. I wonder, if you have another newspaper clipping which may add this tank kills?

Burbach, Hans Unteroffizier Geschützführer i. d. 2./Pz.Jäg.Abt 41 -pak- 16 kills
Hello Antonio,
do you have the newspaper clipping for him?

I wonder if he was equipped with Marder instead of towed Pak as this unit was from 6. Pz.Div., but I have not data at hand currently as to the guns this Abteilung had in their companies.

Grohe, Walter Oberleutnant – GCG - 2./Pz.Jäg.Abt 49 – Marder - 17 kills
then received the Knight's Cross in Panzer Regiment 35
Hello Antonio,

Walter Grohe also got the Ehrenblattspange for some action on 22.7.1943 at Tschernodje (which originally was a recommendation for the Anerkennungsurkunde). On that day 17 tanks where destroyed by 4 Selbstfahrlafetten. Obviously you have the newspaper clipping for that action.

Because of that his personal score for sure was NOT 17 tanks. Not sure if he had any to his credit as he might have been the leader of these 4 Marder's, but not engaged as a gun commander himself? I don't know, but it's possible.

He got the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold much later and afterwards the Ritterkreuz, so he indeed could have had some tanks to his credit, no doubt.

Rehm, Erich, Oblt. d.R., -HRC - 2./Pz.Jäg.Abt. 156 – Stug - 13 kills
then received the Knight's Cross in Pz.Jäg.Abt. 156
Hello Antonio,

another interesting person, which probably had more than these 13 tank kills, BUT

The action described is the company score, the got the Ehrenblatt for action on 22.10.1944 at Ebenrode. As two days are mentioned, it should have been 22./23.10.1944.

His company already was equipped with Sturmgeschütz III as it was when Erich Rehm was recommended for the Ritterkreuz. I don't know details, but have the following note (Source unknown to me at the moment):

Ritterkreuz für die "Vernichtung zahlreicher Feindfahrzeuge und Waffen durch das eigene Sturmgeschütz".

The 56. Inf.Div. during 11 days following 17.1.1945 destroyed 129 tanks, the Sturmgeschütz company shoul have had some share on that ...

O.k., with that, but he continues to serve until 25. March 1945 (died as a Feldwebel), being a Sturmgeschütz commander within 2./Pz.Jg.Abt. 38.

His personal score could have been much higher ...

Pypetz, Hans, Ogefr., - HRC - 2./Pz.Jäg.Abt. 211 – pak - 11 kills
it should be the Obergefreiten Typetz, mentioned in many newspapers
Ah, great, you are absolutely right:

Pypetz got the Ehrenblattspange for action on 19.8.1943 which perfectly fitts with the date given by the Wehrmachtsbericht.

He got the EK1 on 26.8.1943, so obviously it was his EK1 action, also recommended for the Ritterkreuz for that, but he "just" got the Ehrenblattspange.

As he got the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold one year later his personal score for sure was much higher!

For Hornfischer, I think I was wrong.
I have a clipping that tells me 6 kills, but I think it includes France and Russia

Burbach, I found it in an old book, I don't remember which one.

Panzerjäger-Abteilung 41 . 21 Panzerabschüsse, voran Uffz. Burbach; die lP 41 verzeichnete 16 Abschüsse,
