The first Chef of the Kompanie since the raising of the unit in February 1941 was Hastuf. Wilhelm Kment. When Kment took command of the Aufklärungs-Abteilung on 15.October.1941 he was briefly succeeded by Hastuf. Otto Weidinger, shortly after (with effect 22.October.1941) transferred to the JKS Braunschweig.
On 25.October.1941 command of the company was assumed by Hastuf. Hans-Heinrich Ortmann (coming from the dissolved SS-Inf.Rgt. 11) until his death on 21.January.1942. Deputy command went then to Hascha. Hans Bader, severly wounded that same day (21.January.1942). Shortly after the remnants of the company (18 men) were incorporated into the 2.Kompanie.
