German unit during Dieppe raid 19.8.1942

Hallo,
I’m looking for info about the Versuchsbattaillon , 3.Kp., during the Dieppe raid of 19.8.1942.
Is it known where was this unit located at the moment of the raid?
Is it known maybe also the officer name? According to my researches, this little unit (battaillon) was of 200 men, 1 officer.
Hope someone helps me ;)
