Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine Heer/SS Replacements

Hi, i want to know more about the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe units that was used to replace losses in Heer and Waffen-SS formations during the war. I do not really know what to look after. Do anyone have some more information on this topic? It could be anything related honestly. Were they just a pool drawn from naval bases, ships, airfields etc. or were they gathered into "Ersatz" units?
