Gefreiter Herbert Heinzler, Stab II./Marine-Infanterie-Regiment 8 / 3. Marine-Infanterie-Division
27 kills, confirmed , and 14 unconfirmed (during one afternoon)

source : Obkdo. H.Gru.Weichsel, Der Chef des Gen.-Stabes / Ia Nr. 6776/45 geh. (end april) / command area AOK 9

Nearly for sure this has to be not a sniper from the Kriegsmarine (rank !(?)). Most likely he was a surviving member of the former 163. Inf.Div.
3. Marine-Infanterie-Division was formed on 1 Apr 1945 in Pommern by restructuring and refitting the battered 163. Infanterie-Division of the Heer (March 45 with 3. Pz.Armee ; area Stargard, after back from Finland and Norway) ; per the order [Verfügung] Wehrmacht-Führungsstab/Org.Nr. 1754/45 the remaining structure of this division was to be refilled with Marine personnel and to be switched under Kriegsmarine command per April 1st 45. Organisation was that of an ID 45.
Marine-Infanterie-Regiment 8 was the Kriegsmarine designation for the former Grenadier-Regiment 307. Commander of Marine-IR 8 was Major Fritz Sann, decorated with the KC for action with Infanterie-Regiment "Riedel" / Inf.Div. Pommernland (or Pommern) [on 14.04.1945]. He was posted to that KM command after that (Heer officer , "kommandiert").
