90th Light Division Records or POW records

Hi all, I am new to this group, I hope my post is in keeping with the group, apologies if not. I grew up next to an ex German soldier, his son and I were best mates, still close. His dad died ten years ago, in all these years he never talked of his time in the military. Now, my mate would like to find out more of his dad’s time in the war, I am helping. We think we have established that he was in the 90th Light (Afrika) Division. Is it feasible that we could find archived personnel details of the Division? We also know he was captured and held firstly in theUS, then in England (and staying). Maybe someone else here specialises in the wider Afrika Korps. Here’s hoping, thank you in advance. Trev.
