in roll T-77 R-963 Personalveränderungen there are listed those former administrative officials taken over as Stabsintendanten in the Truppensonderdienst. The document is dated 8 August 1944. Has anyone encountered a later roll than this that contains the transfer of Oberzahlmeister and Zahlmeister ranked officials into officer status?

This "other" means the roll is not available unless you buy it straight from NARA...

According to Nara documents the role T315 R1593 is assigned to the 205th Infantry Division.

my mistake. Thank you for your hint.

ein Irrtum meinerseits - danke für den Hinweis. Bei meinen Recherchen war ich zunächst davon ausgegangen, dass mein Großvater als Ersatz in der 180. Infanterie-Division diente. Da er jedoch seit Anfang 1945 in Riga in Gefangenschaft saß, gehe ich davon aus, dass er Ende 1944 der 561. Volks-Grenadier-Division angehörte. Seine Stammkompanie war zu der Zeit die Gernadier-Ersatz- und Ausbildungskompanie 47 (Lüneburg). Ein KTB zur 561. VGD scheint nicht zu existieren.

according to the find book/search in the military archive Freiburg there is no KTB available.
There is a role for the 180th Infantry Division, unfortunately I don't have it.
It would be T315 R1539.

laut Findebuch/Suche im Militärarchiv Freiburg liegt kein KTB vor.
Für die 180.Infanterie Division gibt es eine Rolle, leider habe ich ich diese nicht vorliegen.
Es wäre T315 R1539.

I've got the WASt document about my grandpa's mitlitary career. Fo the period 1944/45 there is written:

Erkennungsmarke: 4136 - G.E.u.A.B. 47
Truppenteile:
lt. Meldung vom 08.10.1944
Stammkompanie/ Grenadier-Ersatz- und Ausbildungsbataillon 47
Standort: Lüneburg
- letzte ermittelte Meldung -

For me it's difficult to find out the right division (and the right KTBs), because his originating company was a replacement company.
