Hi Flying Stukas,

that could be an Italian Ceirano type 50. Here a pic of such a truck, but, sorry, with wood gas generator.

Regards

Bert

Hi Sturm 78, hi Piet,

You are right, Piet, it looks a lot like it. But on the door You can read the abbreviation Tragf. 2,2 to (Tragfähigkeit = load-bearing capacity). So it must be the type Lo 2500 with a payload of 2.200 kg, whereas the type Lo 2000 has a payload of 2000 kg.
Here a pic for comparing.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Francy,
These coachbuilt Italians can be hard to pin down but this one looks like a FIAT 2800 with styling somewhat similar to this one by Carrozzeria Viotti:

Hi Max,
That is fantastic, for some years I have been trying to find the id of two cars which seem to be in German use in North Africa. I had posted on this and other websites, but no success. I now know the front vehicle, but the rearward one, perhaps also FIAT, is still a mystery. Thank you so much, another quandary solved!
Best regards,
Kerry.

Hi Kerry,
I'm happy that I was able to help you out, albeit inadvertently.:D That's a great pic, by the way. I too think the car in the background looks like a FIAT. I can't find an exemplar although this 508 by Balbo has some similar design elements:

Hi all,
I don't know if i post this in the right forum,
But is there a possibility to identify the vehicle by the licence plate?
Maybe someone recognizes the broken contact key?

KRAD is a motorbike?, maybe the small Keys are from the "luggage" boxes that you sometimes see?

Thanks in avance tips are more than welkome!

Greetings, Tim
