I think it is a UNIC type Z 50. Here another pic with such a truck, but with a gas generator
Thank you very much for your help, Bert...

Hi Andriy,
Though quite different, it has some strong similarities to this 1936 Rochet-Schneider in the front. In any case, I would say it's the same coachbuilder, Faurax-Chaussende.

Thank you very much Max,
Incredible - 1936, and such a progressive design. :o

Max are you sure? Something I have not met the Rochet-Schneider chassis with Trilex wheels, as in my photo.

That's all I have on that one Andriy, sorry. I also had your photo in my files but unfortunately it was only labelled "French". It may be a different marque but the same coachbuilder.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Andriy,
Here is a Berliet by Faurax et Chaussende. Maybe your bus is a larger one built on a heavier Berliet chassis with Trilex wheels.

Hi Max,
In your photo, a post-war bus from 1946: https://charge-utile.fr/premium/le-berl ... es-guerre/
I read that Berliet did not produce buses between 1937-1945.
So it is possible, in my photo, a post-war bus.

Andriy

Hi Piet, hi Max,

sorry, I think that the truck on the pic is not the type BLD. It would be too heavy. Besides it is a captured truck of the Austrian army and this army had three types of Saurer, which are worthy of consideration: 2 BH (2 pieces), 2 BHv (57 pieces) or 3 BH (4 pieces) (source: "Kraftfahrzeuge und Panzer des österreichischen Heers 1896 bis heute" by Walter J. Spielberger).

Best regards

Bert

Hi Piet and Bert,
Thanks very much for your help to identify this Saurer. I believe Bert is correct, it looks like the 2 BHv as shown on Holger's site:

Hi, what is the name of the vehicle? The general is Karl Weisenberger.
