Max,
You're right - Rohr Junior it is, a few being trialled as Kubelwagen.
I cropped the radiator emblem from the original picture which came from a website called vorkriegs-klassiker-rundschau.blog.
Well done! Over to you.
Rob.

Thanks, Rob and thanks for the pics. That vehicle was little photographed, I think the Junior only lasted about a year before the marque went belly up and transferred the Tatra licence to Stoewer.
Anyway, for the next question here is a pretty poor photo of a pretty unmistakable looking vehicle:

OK. I admit the above photo is a bit murky so I'll pull her out of the garage to give you a better look.

I just did a belated search for this vehicle here in the quiz and found it was already posted by Markus several years ago here viewtopic.php?t=116213&start=5685.
Anyway, here is a nice pic of the vehicle in SS service (looks like he forgot his jack):

So now that we know the answer the quiz is now open to anyone who wants the next question.

Thank you Max for this opportunity.
Here's my question:

I hope there hasn't been such a question here yet.

Hi Andriy,
Coming from you it must be all wheel drive :D so I'll guess Büssing-Nag Typ 654.

Hi Max,
Yes, it's all-wheel drive :D , but it's not that simple. Look closely. This is a slightly different Büssing-Nag model. You were very close.

Yes Max  , that's right - this is the Büssing-NAG Typ FS 654 (Fernschlepper) with a loading platform. I hand over the baton to you.

Andriy

Thanks, Andriy.
I must admit I'm still not clear how to tell the Type 654 from the FS 654. The photo you posted looked very similar the Type 654 on Holger's website here:

So I guess I need some advice to tell the difference. Wheelbase?

Anyway here is the new question:

Hi Max,
Perhaps an Auburn Phaeton, circa 1936?
If so, and it was mine, I would never trust it with those "grease monkeys"!
Cheers,
Kerry.

Hi Max,
It's good that you noticed this. As I noted earlier, there are errors on the Holger's website, especially in the identification of Skoda trucks. Holger himself writes that he does not know everything, and errors may creep in on his website. So in this photo (mistakenly labeled as Type 654), it is difficult to determine the length of the wheelbase from this angle. In my photo you can see it well.
Type 654 and FS 654 with a loading platform, can be distinguished by the length of the wheelbase. The Type 654 was produced in two versions - 4700 and 5500 mm, and FS 654 - 3625 mm.
The same tractors (with a loading platform), which look like trucks, were also produced by Kaelble.
I hope my information was helpful.
Regards
Andriy

Hi Andriy,
That was very informative. Thanks very much. The only photos and data I have of the Fernschleppers are below. (The page is more legible on the website, http://www.verlagrabe.de/artikel/pdf/hi ... raefte.pdf)
