Hi,

I'm writing a book about the German surrenders on May 1945. so I'm looking for all pics of these 3 surrenders : Lüneburg Heath, Reims and Berlin.

thanks for the pics Fangio.
do you have another pics from these surrenders because I've got all pics you send to me.
the first pic was taken in the city of Reims (France) on may 5 1945 . von friedeburg was coming in the SHAEF.
the second pic was taken in Lüneburg heath in Montgomery's HQ.

It is the German-Russian Museum in Karlshorst, at the site of the surrender of 9th May. They have the original documents, lots of pictures, and the room re-arranged as it was on the day.

I am sure they are happy to help. If not, you have an excuse to bugger off to Berlin for a while.

In this photo, which shows Keitel in Karlshorst before or after signing the unconditional surrender, I can see mics. What were the mics for? Are there audio recordings?
