Hi ShindenKai,
amazing images, very safe digitally post-processed, please see German source for this:
Chronos Media https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronos_Media
People do this to sell, that's all it is.
Perhaps justified in view of the "quality", this processing is expensive and very complex.
This is what is called in Germany "Geschichtsklitterung" and "Geschichtsfälschung", enough written.
Feel free to think what you want, the originals weren't of this quality.
The only interest these publishers have is money, no historical interest, they bark very loudly and in hindsight there is only silence, this has been around since the 1950s, but who am I telling...
It was and is a kind of mockery of the victims of that time, who unfortunately can no longer defend themselves.
There are some of these "publishers" who keep trying to make a profit from the old footage, you know them, not least from this forum.
The well-known crap is boiled up again and again in the hope of further and new buyers, how pathetic.

I could post pages of memoirs from Hermann Göring's personal secretary here, but who wants to read these memoirs ?
Mostly trivial nonsense, a lady allowed to sit at the table of the "gods" in 1935.
But the lady was tough as nails, a strapping German National Socialist. At over 90 years old, the lady still rode her bike around the village every day.
In her old age, the lady destroyed everything except for a few documents that she left to me while she was alive.
She liked me, blue eyes, sandy hair, the old ideal.
Nationalsozialisten
It was odd for me, but I liked that attention, that affection, very weird...
You can't slip out of your skin as a young person, you are what you represent, I've experienced something like this very often myself.
You don't come out of your own skin, that old shit haunts you your whole life.

A small episode of history, no more."Unkraut vergeht nicht!"

Thanks for sharing. It's lovely to see these digitally restored films.
There are tons of them on YouTube. Many filmed by soldiers who were stationed or visiting Berlin in the aftermath of 1945 to 1946 when the damage was all still very real and visible.

Hi VanillaNuns,
Watch this: Flug über das zerstörte Berlin 1945
Link: https://www.google.com/search?client=op ... 8&oe=UTF-8
A total of almost half an hour of film, the total destruction in three short films, the pictures leave you speechless, even today...
Marlene Dietrich / Einen Koffer in Berlin...
Just listening to this song, tears on my face, none of us should be ashamed of love of homeland and fatherland, not even as a German.
