TIK says Hitler was a revolutionary leftist who wanted to dethrone the Army essentially. If that was true why did keep re-hiring those generals? How did German people under Nazism perceive its political stance, I can't imagine this was a common view at the time.
Was the Nazis distrust of their generals because of their politics?

He more like wanted to nazify the Army but that was a slow process, he couldn't just replace the generals because there were no suitable Nazi replacements.
The SA wanted to replace the Army with their own people's army.

WM is right.
the Nazis believed in loyalty to the party. the Generals were mostly loyal to the army.
I've read a lot of accounts that say the generals viewed Hitler with contempt and couldn't believe he achieved the power he did. they dealt with him with some reluctance, and maybe some contempt.
Hitler knew the generals held huge power in Germany and felt he had to placate them, thus the eventual sacrifice of the SA to appease them (they had served their purpose anyway).

Saint Peter, let these men enter Heaven; they served their time in hell.
