Origins of Hitler's denunciation of butchering animals

I've read that Adolf Hitler denounced the butchery of animals as indicative of Jewish cruelty, outlawing the butchery of animals in the form of kosher slaughter on April 21, 1933. However, when did Hitler start to develop an antipathy for the butchery of animals like cows, pigs, and chickens for food?

Although not only Jews butchered animals. In fact, at that time lots of people killed their own dinner at home.
Live animals were better than food poisoning.

It is not unlikely that Hitler saw an animal being slaughtered when he grew up in rural Austria.

He might have seen kosher slaughter in Vienna because many Ostjuden (Jews who had recently migrated from Eastern Europe) lived there. In kosher slaughter, it is not allowed to stun the animal. The animal's throat is slit quickly while it is still conscious.

Shehitah prohibition was projected in Vienna when the anti-Semitic Dr. Karl Lueger was it[s] burgomaster and at the height of his power. On February 22, 1905 the Stadtrat of Vienna passed a motion proposed by Dr. Krenn making stunning by a blow upon the skull mandatory before the bleeding operation. The proposal was then discussed in the Gemeinderat of Vienna, where it was passed on April 28. Rejecting the protest of the Jewish community, Burgomaster Lueger on May 24 issued a proclamation that as of June 1, 1905 all ritual slaughtering in the abattoirs of Vienna must cease entirely. On May 25, 1905, at the request of the Jewish Community of Vienna, the Governor of Lower Austria annulled the act of the Vienna Council of April 28, 1905 [...].

Hitler first went to Vienna in May 1906. He might have read about shehitah in Viennese newspapers or antisemitic brochures. According to his book Mein Kampf, he became an antisemite in Vienna, but historians (Brigitte Hamann, etc.) have raised several doubts about this claim. He was not yet a vegetarian, based on August Kubizek's book Adolf Hitler, mein Jugendfreund.

Following this quote by Rudolf Heß, Hitler became a vegetarian in 1930,

Someone who was a vegetarian for fifteen years of his life once told me that the vast majority of the people would refrain from eating animals if it had to kill them oneself.

He became a vegetarian after the death of his beloved niece.
