The writer signed as "P. Höpl". There is no "Höpl" in the Munich address book published in 1943. The writer might be identical with Peter Höpfl, who had a paint and lacquer shop at Feilitzschstraße 70 (according to Münchner Stadtadreßbuch 1943, p. 272; 2.8 km away for walking according to Google Maps).

I wonder if Peter Höpfl also painted this one just on the other side of the building (Feldherrnhalle)....
