Giesecke?
No! (I thought you'd recognise him immediately.) Commander of a division named after the most famous Nazi "martyr".

Thanks, Steve!

Who is this SS officer, here collecting for Winter Relief in Munich? Last rank SS-Stubaf. (1937).
He was often around certain Reichsminister born in Alexandria.

Excellent guess but sorry, not him. Early member of the party since 1923. This man lived in the same house with the Führer on nr. 16 Prinzregentenplatz in 1934.

Another hint: His photo album was discovered couple of years ago and received quite a lot of publicity in media. This man was born in 1892 and his original profession was cook.

Sorry for delay, I was literally off the digital world for the weekend.

Halfdan is correct - the mystery man is SS-Stubaf. Ernst Zaske.
An "Alter Kämpfer", former cook and one of the very few RSD men who had no prior police career but rose up the ranks and became deputy head of Dienststelle 3 which was responsible of Rudolf Hess. Already in 1932 he was responsible of protecting the Führer in and around his apartment in Munich.

Over to you, Halfdan.
