Hello BR,
First of all a very big thank you (and Ken S. too) for the help! Amazing support!
No, there is no chess board in sight even on the photo. Apelogies I did not add the photos but sometimes they are very blad (nothing special is shown), so I assumed they did not help or add much. Here it's the translation only that makes the photos interesting.
I attached some more texts with one the photo for the first text # - as the text is very short. But it seems to me, it's the Croatian place names that are hard here?
Thank you for your big help, i hope you are willing to help me more?
Kind regards,
Dimitrii

Hi Dimitrii,
1) Stützpunkt Ostraciatz (?)
(April 44.)
2) Franz'l und ich bei der
großen Wäsche
Aug. 1944.
3) Rückkehr vom Urlaub. Die
erste Runde auf dem Stützpunkt Ostrazai. (?)
30/3.44.
4) Rückkehr von einem
Gegenstoß nach einem
Angriff der Partisanen.
Ostern 44. Ostravatz (?)
The local names are obviously germanized. I doubt that these are Croation names.
Best Regards

Quite possibly it's the same village on all photos: Oštrovac, now on Croatia/Bosnia and Herzegovina border.

Could the rest read "Gebäude des Fernml-Kommandos" [Fernmelde-Kommandos]?
I agree with GregSingh about Banja-Luka.
