Sorry, I don't no.

It doesn't really matter I would say, because as I said, the movie is from the early years of war without an US engagement.

Aha comique italo-français! I think I’ve found the seventh company but not quite sure if they have actually been found or still on the run..?

My choice: The Seventh Company Has Been Found (1973).
My other choice: Now Where Did the Seventh Company Get to? (1975).

The Seventh Company Has Been Found (1973)

The halftrack has a longer appearance in the movie because the three French infantry soldiers + later a airforce officer use this vehicle in their hide and seek journey through invaded France.

Yep! Danger Close. Watched it yesterday. Reminded me of an other Vietnam war movie starring Mel Gibson 8-)

Don’t think so. More likely a “rip-off” scene of the former Burton/Eastwood stunt. Think the mentioned Carthaginian commander is a good lead.
