Ian,
#722:

No.3 is General Alfred Dürr 11.2.1888-30.05.1952 (Luftwaffe)
No.6 is General Erich Eisenbach:

Hello Hucks
I refer to Your note above : "A January 1940 6.Armee Stellenbesetzung...." which I miss
I have a Kriegsrangliste of the 6.Armee dated 1.2.40 but there are no other (unterstellten) units inside.
Among other I also collect officer lists (Stellenbes., Kriegsrangl. etc., Heer only, 8.39 - 5.45 only) and I have many of them.
I´d be interested to have Your full list too (I hope You´re so generous, I could give You another list for that.....), or alternatively You could give me the link (or the name of the roll, with the page numbers) where I can find Your list.
Many thanks. Rossano

Hello again Hucks
I refer to Your note above "killed by artillery 20th August 1941 while commander of Aufkl.Abt 254" regarding Rittm. Dr. Höhn.
There must be something wrong in that citation because if he died on 20.8.41 he couldn´t be by then Kdr. AA.254 any more. Infact in the doc. at #710 another Rittm. (his name ?) signed it already on 12.7.41 as "Kdr." AA.254.Your opinion ?
Maybe Höhn Kdr. until about mid 41 (he was Kdr. already in jan. 40), and then ?
Thanks, Rossano

Just home from work so just a quick reply - the citation is signed in the month before he died not the month after. He is listed as the Kdr in 1940 and the KIA card shows he was with Stab/A.A.254 when killed in 1941 so no doubt remained Kdr until then.

Thanks Hucks for Your reply but I don´t understand Your comment...
We have that so far unknown Rittm. who was Abt.Kdr. in july 41 , and if he was Kdr. it means that he replaced Höhn before july and consequently that Höhn was no longer Kdr. of that Abt., neither in july nor in aug. My opinion is that Höhn remained attached to the Abt.Stab (not as Kdr., maybe as Hptm. b. Stab) until his death. I hope I/we´ll soon find the name of (and more info about) this misterious Rittm.
Rgds., Rossano

The signature of the surname on the citation starts with a H and consists of 4 letters. In 1940 Höhn is listed as Kdr of the Abt. He was killed as the Kdr of the Abt therefore the signature is of Otto Höhn as it is signed one month before he died.

Thank You again for Your explanation. I´d never read out of that signature the name Höhn also because to me the first letter seemed to be a "v." but probably You´re right and it is an "O." (then Höhn), and obviously in such a case Höhn was really Kdr. until his death.
Thanks for having opened my eyes for that signature
P.S.: no 6.Armee Stellenbes. ?

Hi Ian,

#722:

I have another one for you:
No. 4 I read as Drescher, so it's most likely Curt Drescher.

Best regards
Armin
