he was born in Czechoslovakia (Freiwaldau) died in 1944 Poland (Gacki) he was a Feldwebel. Thats all i know. As far as I know Sagan is the modern Zegan in Poland? Not sure why there would be a reich department for Sagan in august 1939?

Freiwaldau, nowadays Gozdnica (Poland), was never located in Czechoslovokia but in Lower Silesia, then Prussia. That´s why there was German administration.
What I see is an average Wehrpass without any special annotations or informations. Or order/medal entries. A young man KIA as Feldwebel. I don´t see any reason to doubt it´s authenticity.
The death certificate looks better in condition but is simply a document which verifies the death of this man and got issued months after his death by the local civil registry office.

It is a perfectly good Wehrpass. He is listed in the Volksbund and confirms the place of death as Gacki although he is listed as an Unteroffizier. His body has never been recovered and remains in his field grave.

Can you show pages 22-23, 32-33 & 34 please?

Nice set of awards. I wonder if the signature seen on the last image is Reinecke? There was a Gerhard Reinecke who won the Knights Cross with Pz.Rgt 6 in 1941 as a Feldwebel. If he was promoted to Leutnant then it could possibly be him but as I know nothing about him that is just a thought.

It doesn't mention how he died, just where.

The unit from 1st April 1943 is Panzer-Ersatz-Abteilung 5 which provided replacements for Panzer-Regiment 5, 6 & 26 (among other panzer units).

The signature seen on Post #10 is that of Ernst Becker who won the DKiG while Kompanie-Führer of 8./Pz.Rgt 6.
