Does some one know if there are any good reference books/publications about the weapon containers which were used by the german fallschirmjager during the war.

I don't think there is anything in print specific to your interests. I have only seen photo histories, and that being coverage during the Crete drop with pics showing the containers opened or the loading of the items into Ju 52's.
