I recently bought a SOAR ART DORA kit that was missing like 30% of the parts. What is there is almost usable since my thinking is to do another Gustav/Dora Geschütz variant with the pieces and I'd have to scratch build quite a few new ones anyway. As most know, this kit has many problems including the barrel being incorrect. While I have not yet decided which variant I am going to build, I decided to at least look at the barrel in the kit for potential reuse. I decided to check the model against my own drawings based off of an original Krupp drawing. I am sure there is an after market barrel somewhere but I am including a dimensioned drawing for barrel #1 based off of original Krupp drawings for anyone still interested in correcting their kit and/or making there own.
