Hi all
a unit with Beute-Schlepper UE.
The softskins in front are also interesting.

Regards
Armin
Armin, can you make out the registration numbers ? They look like Pol to me but I'm old and so are my eyes.

Hi Alan
it seems that the Opels were originally civilian cars.
The left car has the registration Th-62616, the car in the middle seems to have the registration M-24848x
the right one I cannot decipher. All of them have a WH marking written on the mudguard.

Regards
Armin

Hi Alan, hi Armin,

yes, these civilian Opels were confiscated.
The registration "Th" is for "Thüringen - 62xxx is for the town Eisenach, "M" for "Mecklenburg".

Hi Bert, Armin, Alan,
That's interesting. Here are 2 more of them with M-248--- plates:
opel admiral umbau (2).jpg
Opel_Admiral_Umb_zu_l_Lkw_01.jpg
Apparently they were registered at the same time. I thought maybe they all came from the same coachbuilder like these Horch 830 BL chassis with Th registry built by Fleischer in Thüringen:
fleischer horch conversions -.jpg
However I can find no coachbuilder active in Mecklenburg at that time.

Edit: Sorry I grabbed the wrong image for that first photo. I can't actually read that plate number. Here is the correct one:
