► Photothread: Polish Vehicles in German Service
Although there are large threads for French, Russian, British and Italian beutevehicles, I cannot find one for Polish armor. Perhaps because there were to small numbers in Polish service and consequently also in German service?
There are not many pictures of Polish armor in German service, so perhaps we can share the ones we have found.
Or is there no interest in the subject? The Germans were interested... they used whatever they could find the strenghten their forces. They even put up a site to overhaul the captured 7tp tanks and TK tankettes. They were used by Wehrmacht till several months after ending the Polish campaign, by Police troops in the Russian campaign and security forces throughout the war.
So bring in pictures and information you want to share!
Here some books who have info on the subject:
Jentz & Regenberg, Panzer Tracts, No. 19-1, Beute-Panzerkampfwagen [Czech, Polish and French tanks captured from 1939 to 1940], 2007, ISBN 0-9771643-7-3
Regenberg, Podzun-Pallas Verlag, Panzerfahrzeuge und Panzereinheiten der Ordnungspolizei 1936-1945, ISBN 3-7909-0593-3
Spielberger, Militärfahrzeuge Band 12, Beute-Kraftfahrzeuge und -Panzer der deutschen Wehrmacht, ISBN 3-613-01255-3

Same parade with TK/TKS tankettes, with German MG34. The crews are regular Wehrmacht armorpersonnel as they wear panzeroveralls. From ebay

Re: Captured polish armor in German service
Germans like to take photo of all polish vehicles that they've captured.
But the thread is on "captured polish vehicles in german service".
We can consider than captured polish vehicles are in german service when
-have balkenkreuz painted or
-carry nazi flag or
-carry swatika
-have german inscription like WH or OKW....or unit like (eagle of ordnungpolizei)
-have german licence plate like WH, SS, WM, WL, OT....

Hello Carius,
Here is a picture taken during same action but from a different position. Vehicles are Pzkpfw 7TP of Polizei-Regiment Mitte in USSR.
