that´s a "leichter Funkwagen" (light radio wagon) Nf. 3. Here a pic of this wagon out of the book "Bespannte Fahrzeuge des deutschen Heeres bis 1945" by Wolfgang Fleischer.
Thank you very much for your help, Bert.
I guess that the image is the back side of the Vorderwagen. I think the radio equipment in my image is a
Fu.11 (early) radio set with a 100W.S. transmitter (to the right) and a Torn.E.445 Bs reciever (to the left).
Do you know if the Nf.3 was always equipped with the same radio equipment ??

Hi Sturm 78,

You are right that the image You posted is the back side of the Vorderwagen (anterior wagon).
In the book "Bespannte Fahrzeuge des deutschen Heeres bis 1945" there is mentioned by Wolfgang Fleischer that there was a 100 W.S. transmitter and a Fu. 5 in the wagon.

Best regards

Bert

Thanks, Bert. I am no expert in radios but according to my information Fu.5 radio was a set for armoured vehicles or tanks.... :?
Here an image from the net

I think the radio set of the wagon in my image is a Fu.11

Hi Sturm 78,

thank You very much for Your reply. I´m no expert in radios, too. I think that You are totally right.
The FuG. 5 radio was a set for armoured vehicles or tanks.
And I agree with You that the radio set of the wagon in Your image is a FuG. 11.

Best regards

Bert

Hi all,

A WWI-era horse wagon. It seems the predecessor of the Hf.2 wagon...

Hi Sturm 78,

a very interesting pic! Thanks for posting! You are right, it is the predecessor of the Hf. 2 and had the designation "schwerer Feldwagen 05".
Here a üic of such a wagon (source: "Bespannt Fahrzeuge des deutschen Heeres" by Wolfgang Fleischer.

Best regards
