Hi, this is my first post here and the BuFla is my current area of interest.
Does anybody have pictures of WH 171976 and WH 234087 ?

Thanks in advance.

WH 5103

I hope that I've just loaded two pictures from page 4 of this thread.
The second shows WH 5103 after its dose of "friendly-fire" at Chemery in 1940. It features white outline crosses, K for Kleist and armoured head-light covers.
The first picture neccessarily pre-dates it and has none of these features.
Hopefully these differences will allow us to follow at least some of the vehicles through campaigns and modifications.

Thanks, I've got those.

This site gives ten registration numbers with photographs except for WH 171976 and 234087.

This russian site gives nine similar numbers and a lot of photographs which I have not seen elsewhere including WH 171976. Just looking for WH 234087.

Hi all.
I came across this site today. It's mainly for advertising the resin kits which he makes but includes a bunch of photographs - at least three that I've not seen before.

The problem with blogger websites is that sometimes you can't link directly to the page. Instead go to the homepage and scroll to november 2011.

Alongside the pictures I am also looking for historical information about this unit.
This includes some useful information.
http://www.avalanchepress.com/bufla.php
Does anybody know what the source document is ? Is it short enough to publish here ?
The Avalanche press article refers to two vehicles lost in France. Is this from the source document or based on the photographs ?

This site by John Winner has a few more different pics. I'm not totally convinced by his attempts to identify individual vehicles but I like what he has tried to do.
