SS ring for sale
This ring belonged to one of my uncle during WW2. This is a 100% authentic WW2 SS ring since it’s been in our family since so long. The ring is silver of course. Offers are welcome.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Thank you very much

Pictures might be nice and some info about your uncle, if you are willing to provide some provenance about the ring and the former owner.

Re: SS ring for sale
So, what's SS ? His initials ?
If we become increasingly humble about how little we know, we may be more eager to search.

Re: SS ring for sale
We are not so sure if it stands for SS= Die Schutzstaffel (SS) war eine nationalsozialistische Organisation in der Weimarer Republik und der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus, die der NSDAP und Adolf Hitler als Herrschafts- und Unterdrückungsinstrument diente.
Or his initials but we are very sure that it is from 1940 original in Germany during the war. It also has the typical design from the time during WW2 you can see this here on this ring which is just a photo I found on google and is compared to my original ring a remake.

Re: SS ring for sale
Why are you selling it if it was your uncle’s? No matter what, this I’m sure has extreme sentimental value to someone in your family, because you scertainly don’t as you’re selling it..

Re: SS ring for sale
Interesting when the OP's description is taken literally as a "100% authentic WW2 SS ring."
Not as it turns out that it is a 100% authentic Schutzstaffel ring, but a (claimed) WWII era ring with the initials "SS" on it that the OP is unsure if the "SS" stands for Schutzstaffel or not. There is a difference.
A bit confusing as an item described as a "WW2 SS ring" in the context of a forum devoted to Axis history generally means a Schutzstaffel ring and not something merely with initials on it, with a Schutzstaffel connection that sadly cannot be proven one way or the other based on the information provided so far.
As for family members selling items that belonged to relatives, that sort of thing happens all the time. In fact, a lot of things that collectors would pay good money for are given away or even get thrown away over the years. Just because somebody values something does not mean that someone else will.

Re: SS ring for sale
Was usual to put owner initials on this kind of rings ( seal ring ), made usually in gold or silver.
For me, is not a ring made with political purposes.
