Wartime bans/censorship of fascist literature in Britain (?)

Post by Viktor.S » 14 May 2020 21:23

Hello everyone,

I have heard that Oswald Mosley and some other members of the BUF were interned during the war, so did Britain also try to halt the publication or possession of fascist literature? I have seen a translation of 'The Political and Social Doctrine of Fascism' which was printed in the UK during the 1930s, but I have no idea if these sorts of publications continued after September 1939, or if there were laws during the war against owning this sort of literature.

Thanks.
