Thank you again. This has been most informative. Much more than all my google searches could find. You must have quite a library.

Hello,

The B1bis "TYPHON" has the serial 270 and is from the 2nd company of the 8e BCC.
On 16th May 1940 he faces mechanical breakdowns at Longchamp, 6 km west of Guise. The tank is abandoned and scuttled by its crew on 17th May 1940.
The crew is embarked in a truck carrying food and heads towards Saint-Quentin.

Crew :
Sous-lieutenant Barthélémy
Sergent Turbil
Caporal-chef Mangest
Caporal Souverain

Hello.
Two internal views of the BI and a picture of a BI bis with RtC Lorraine 37L from the book 'Chars et matériels du 15° BCC, Chars B au Combat' of Stéphane Bonnaud near Histoire & Collections ISBN: 2-913903-42-8.
Ps, salut David.
Patrice.
