Evacuation of French troop and status of Colonial garrison 1940

Hi, everyone, I see sources saying that British convinced French to evacuate her remnant of 500,000 troops to North Africa, did this figures include The Army of Alps and Corsica garrision ?

And anyone can help on numercial strength of French garrison in location below :

I see sources that the Army of the Alps had 170,000 men, right ?

And hard figures on Corsica garrison, Tunisia Garrison, Levant Garrison, Algeria Garrison and Morocco garrison ?
From OOB, it seems Tunisia Garrison was most powerful, as threatened by Italian from Libya, then followed by Levant Garrison, but threat to Levant Garrison was not obvious, USSR or Turkey ?

Then Morocco Garrison, obviously threated by Franco's Spain if French army suffered a defeat in Metropolitan France.

Regarding Algeria, as it was protected by Morocco from West and Tunisia from East, her troop really for garrison, three 181-183e DIA only had two infantry regiments and one 65mm mountain gun group

And Corisca was protected by a number of infantry battalions with some artillery units.

Anyone have hard figures on those garrison by area during May-June 1940 ? Thank

No ideas about what the British thought by such number and what troops were under this planned half-million
maybe a great number of untrained conscripts from depots or units reaching in the south, I don't see how could be withdrawn a still fighting Army of 175 000 men, of which 85 000 on the borders, under the fire of the Italians along the southeastern alpine border and the Germans on north and west of them, the Army of the Alps couldn't escape and flow peacefully like the water of the Rhône to the Mediterranean sea if precisely their undefeated garrisons and the frontline, facing both ennemies armies, would be evacuated

Levant had 83 654 men,
it was not Soviet Union or Turkey a threat for Levant but rather the Levant/TOMO Theater imagined as a threat and base of operations for the Balkans for any Oriental Front peripheral strategy plan, repeating the Salonika campain of WWI, and even against Soviet Caucasus, to organize and support an Alliance with Greece, Yugoslavia, Rumania, even Turkey against Germany or Soviet Union objectively allied to Germany by launching aerial bombardment raids against Caucasus and its petroleum industry or reaching it by a ground offensive from Syria crossing the Turkish territory

I searched and asked myself in the pastt and I didn't receive reply until now

given the ORBAT I thought there were roughly around 20 000 men but I have seen one figure in a regional book who gives until 30 000...maybe with the Navy I don't know...

Hi, Loic, thank for your help. I wonder if Corsica garrison did not have tank units. Supposing Italian launched attack, tank is of vital importance.

And BTW, I see Corsica had 171-175 batteries of 406 AA Regiment with 20 x 75mm CA mle 15/34 heavy AA guns, I would like to know all these models were static or can use in field role like towed by truck.

And I always see Lee sharp book saying some 75mm guns were towed by farm tractor, trucks or tractor, did what is farm tractor ? Agriculture machinery mobilitzed by army ? Thank
