Admiral meets with Yang Sen 1926

In October it seems that three ships headed by an admiral ascended the Yangzi to meet with Yang Sen--who but a month before had engaged British gunboats (French Dourdart de Lagree observed). Can anyone fill in details, Who? Men and ships When ---dates, Understanding Fr merchant flag and ships on Yangzi -- Later that month and possible into November the squadron may have been at Changsha, Wuhan (Hankow) Juijiang etc --any info is wonderful. Landing of French naval or marines at Hankow or Juijiang? Many thanks in advance.
