Hello

the reply is contained in the regimental title of both divisional regiments : if RA only or "RANA" for North African
the 7 DINA except the 5th Division had "RANA" (54e 40e 20e 33e 6e 81e and their respectives serie 200 heavy regiment)
the 75mm Divisional Artillery includes for the French 67 officers 206 NCO's 906 others ranks with 31 NCO's 841 others ranks North African
the Heavy Divisional Regiment 47 officers 142 NCO's 673 others ranks with 21 NCO's 626 others ranks North African
my figures come from Lee Sharp's serie Volume IV page 107

instead of RANA the 5e DINA had "colonial artillery regiments", 22e and 222e, but in french military "colonial" doesn't mean ispo facto from colonized indigenous people, if not just renamed Marine Artillery since 1901, both are French units from southern mediterranean France

Hi, Loic, thank for your help. Very much appreciated.

BTW, did RANA have any national classification like Tirailleur regiment had divided into Morcoccan, Algerian and Tunisian or just mixed them together ? Thank

hello

before 1939 each had determined units with 40e RANA already reserved for Algérians and 54e RANA for Moroccans

no others indications

however in 1940 there were quite a lot of Tunisians in the 20e RANA and Algerians in the 33e RANA

Hi, Loic, thank so much for your information.

BTW, if 40e RANA for Algerian and 54e RANA for Moroccan, is it also mean their 200 series for RALD also same racial composition ?

Regarding 1er Moroccan Division, is mean all units from Arab was exclusively Moroccan like 64e RAA and 80e GRDI ? Thank
